Sexual HOT! It takes a while before it gets started.

First off let me say this, I have only read a little over half of the first Night Huntress Novel, so I really know nothing about Cat and Bones. In saying this I will not be comparing between them. I’m one that prefers PNR over UF. So, I was very pleased with First Drop of Crimson.

I love a book with a bad gorgeous vampire, Spike fit that bill for me. This book has just about all the elements for a good PNR, it has lots blood fighting action, adventure, some humor, traveling, family, friends and throw in hot sex with a vampire, you have a great PNR book.

**Spoilers**

Denise family members starts dying with a mysterious hart attracts. One night she is with one relatives and the killer comes after him, Denise see who and how it happens. So, she thinks it a vampire and tries to call Cat and Bones for help with no avail she calls Spike. She meets the demon in her home and he tell's her why he is killing her family and what will happen if she doesn’t do his bidding. Spike comes to find out what is going on and finds Denise with demon brands on her. Denise spills what happened to Spike, so he agrees to help. This is were their adventure starts trying to find a old relative, so no more relatives will die, this is not going to be easy to do, Spike discovers something about Denise that he has to hide and bargain with at the sometime just find the relative that's responsible for it all.

I liked Spike a lot he is in this quest to help Denise for the long hall and gives a lot to help her. I would have like to read Denise not being so wimpy (you know oh woo is me) this is the reason I gave 4 not 5 stars. I liked how the romance was written between Spike and Denise wasn’t rushed or real slow. I loved the shower scene totally hot! and how Spike brought it up to Denise that he knew she was watching.

But the jaded divorce lawyer claims his job has warned him off romance. Slipping a love elixir into Griffin's drink may not be the noble thing to do-but it sure works! There's just one problem: Are Griffin's feelings the result of some truly good witchcraft-or could he really be in love?

Sexual- very hot! for an non-erotic

I found this to be a good easy read. I liked the potion (elixir) ideal not real original ideal to write about, but it worked for this book and couple. If you read the first book in this series you found Lily was having a hard time getting Griffin to notice her, so she ends up putting a potion in this drink to see if she can win him. I really liked the emotions in this book it was a roller costar ride, especially when she gives her dog to Griffin. I also liked how Griffin found out Lily was a witch.

With Lily giving the potion to Griffin in the first part of the book it made for quite a bit of sex, because that’s all Griffin could really think about. It was good sex but quite a bit of it. I didn’t understand why there was a cat on front of the book Lily has a dog, I know that not real important, I guess I may be picky. There is some interesting people left, hope I will see more of them in coming books

Book Signing

Good Morning! Well it's early here, but I was thinking about something and I wanted to tell you all before I forget.

This is yours head's up guys.

J.R. Ward is coming. There are two book signings in KY celebrating the release of Lover Mine, due out April 27th. Here are some details:

May 8th at The Bookstore in Radcliffe, KY- time TBA
May 15th at 2 p.m. at the Borders in Crestview, KY

Last year Laurie and I attended the one in Radcliffe and had a lot of fun. It was really cool just to meet JR and listen to her talk about Covet. Of course if you're lucky and get to go you'll probably here a secret or two!! There's always a couple of tidbits she lets slip during her visit. If you are thinking about going you should give the bookstores a call and see what arrangements they are planning for her visit. I know when Laurie and I went last year we had to buy the book at the Bookstore to reserve a spot for the signing, but no worries you can make your purchase over the phone and that guarantees you will have a spot!! The plans for this year might be different so please do some digging for your choice of signings and find out specifics!!

Laurie and I plan to attend the one in Radcliffe again this year so hopefully we might run into some of you if you're close of enough to make the trip. Be sure to email us if you are thinking of going so we can meet and greet each other. It would be awesome to get to know some of you! If you aren't sure about the trip I'll say this, that for me and Laurie neither bookstore is in our backyard so you won't be the only one making a road trip that day! But it's a fun event and I think it's worth it just to meet other readers that have the same interest.

Here a little bit more information. There is a virtual signing this time. It opens March 22nd and closes Monday, April 19th. When the virtual signing opens there will be a link that I'll try to post back out here for you guys. The official first signing will be at The Romantic Times Convention on Saturday, May 1st. According to her Facebook page their will be doing a contest of some kind to give away two signed copies (hopefully) and there is more to come so stay tuned.

Keep checking back with us also, we might have a special surprise for a one lucky follower.

Have a great day everybody. Talk to you soon!

Sexual- very steamy hot!
LOVED IT!!! For an erotic suspense thriller this one blew me away. I don’t want to give to much of this away, so I'm just going to give some details. This book has a sex crime so make sure you have a stomach for this, its fast pace, so you do have to wait for ever to find out who did it. I even has a hard time trying to figure out who did it.

I liked Rafe he determined to take down who is murdering the women. I really liked Emily she has lots of courage and curiosity to make the story more interesting. Rafe and Emily both like to dominate, they both take turns with out question or fighting about who is lead it worked out great, its was just right in heat to make it steamy hot, there is anal sex in this one. I felt this book has just the right amount of storyline and sex so you don’t get tired of either
This series does not have to be read in order
1. The First Time
2. Cought!
3.After Dark
