One thrust from Chur frees the women to find their perfect mates...yet he is forbidden to enjoy his work. But Chur's third Harvest changes everything, for the final virgin is none other than his paratanist, a loyal servant who reveals herself to be a startlingly sensuous woman. Enovese has desired her master since she first laid hands upon him, but her scheme to free them both is complicated by Chur's prideful resistance. Until the Harvester declares Enovese his bondmate, they must maintain a dangerous charade of master and slave. Visit a unique world where one man Chur is forbidden to enjoy the benefit of his work. He can only take the virgins virginity and then stop and while doing this both participants has oils so there is no pleasure. Until one Harvest Enovese his servant takes matters in her own hands and takes his choice away from him by declaring herself as his bondmate. This doesn’t settle well with Chur it takes him a long while to get over what Enovese has done to him knowing both of their lives are not on the line. During time for the next harvest Chur gets to really know Enovese for more than just a servant.

This is a very unique story about another world and their rituals and how their way of life works. There is a lot of great warriors in this story, so you know there is more to come. A bit of warning here this book is stuffed full of tasteful hot sex. You get anal, light spanking and more. There is also mention of male rape. The downside for me was there was a lot of sex, I found myself skimming over a lot of it. There is a very good storyline, one about a servant girl that knows what should be hers so much so, she would place her life on the line to get it.

Dark Harvest is next
I also seen on Anitra facebook another hot looking cover for Sinful Harvest, I do believe it will be book three.

Review The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie by Jennifer Ashley

The Madness of Lord Ian Mackenzie book one in the Highland Pleasures
Author- Jennifer Ashley
Historic romance
Mass Market Paperback, 336 pages
Authors website

Book description
The year is 1881. Meet the Mackenzie family--rich, powerful, dangerous, eccentric. A lady couldn't be seen with them without ruin. Rumors surround them--of tragic violence, of their mistresses, of their dark appetites, of scandals that set England and Scotland abuzz.

The youngest brother, Ian, known as the Mad Mackenzie, spent most of his young life in an asylum, and everyone agrees he is decidedly odd. He's also hard and handsome and has a penchant for Ming pottery and beautiful women.

Beth Ackerley, widow, has recently come into a fortune. She has decided that she wants no more drama in her life. She was raised in drama--an alcoholic father who drove them into the workhouse, a frail mother she had to nurse until her death, a fussy old lady she became constant companion to. No, she wants to take her money and find peace, to travel, to learn art, to sit back and fondly remember her brief but happy marriage to her late husband.

And then Ian Mackenzie decides he wants her.

This is the first historical romance I found mind-blowing. I was sucked in from the first chapter. I tend to get tired of the same old virgin line you find in a lot of historical. This one was nothing like them. I loved the writing style of Jennifer Ashley, she makes characters come to life in your head. I really like reading tortured men and these for brothers are just that. But then Jennifer adds them with some madness, scandals and topped off with some hot steamy romance you just cant go wrong.

Beth found herself engaged to the wrong man when Ian gave her a letter telling her what her soon to be husband truly was. But what she doesn’t know is what scandals the madman Ian is into either. I really liked reading Beth she is a very strong heroine that has the backbone to do the impossible that no Mackenzie has gotten done and that she solved the case and it almost cost her everything.

Ian was in it to steal her from Mather. But who can blame him considering what Mather is. I really liked reading Ian he finds that his life is worth more than he ever imagined with Beth.

I loved the romance in this book it starts out slow and picks up a lot from there. I really liked the way Jennifer adds the other three brothers in the story. You get to read about them enough to where you cant wait for their book without it being over board and taking away from Ian and Beth’s story

New rating system look

Here's my new rating system. It will be located at the about/policy's drop button. I think I will find this one easy to use and its a little different. Hope you guys find it easy to read.

Dante’s world and his immortality depend on claiming her as his own. The choice Amy makes between the two men will affect both her world and her future.

I really enjoyed this one. Again the Indian and demon folklore is really excellent and not to be missed. I so enjoy how Kathy writes her steamy sex lines, they are written to draw you in to enjoy the two characters together. I really liked the interesting cast of characters Kathy has going on in this book. I look forward to reading more on them in the future.

Few spoilers
As Amy’s new life in Arizona is just starting out. She really wants to go back home. Amy has been somewhat seeing her boss Dante they have been playing sex games, but the games are not pleasing her like she would like him to. Plus the sex games he’s playing is starting to scare her, especially when she wakes up and finds things on her body that wasn’t there before she went to bed, so she knows this is more than just dreams. When she tries to break it off with Dante he just wont take no for an answer. Dante really doesn’t like it when he sees her and Jake together.

Jake is a shape-shifter mountain lion. Animals start coming up dead. His granddad Bill tells him a folk tale about the Coyote and Badger, he also tells Jake the enemy wont stop at animals the humans will be next. It takes a while for Jake to figure out the folk tales are read and he needs to do something to stop the demons.

My only reason for 4 ½ stars is I really miss a glossary for the demon side they kind of get confusing who is who.

Damned and Desired is book two.

The Darkest Passion is not one of my favorite out of the series. I had a hard time getting into the first 250 pages of this book. All I seamed to read was how desperate Olivia wants to be with Aeron, she all but got on her knees and begged and I do believed she would have done just that. And every time Aeron keep wanting to take her to town to get rid of her, she would try to put a guilt tip on him, so she could stay grrr. I know she went though a lot to be with him but after the first 100 pages this is enough no more trying to make him keep her. And then there is Legion I mean throw her out of a window of a high story building. Legion will really make you hate her with her extreme measures she does just to keep Aeron. Its really amazing what Olivia and Legion do to try to keep him to their selves

This does change after 250 pgs. There was more excitement added to the book plus Olivia finely cools her engine for Aeron. When Aeron wants to start up she tells him no she doesn’t want to be brought to a point and said no to again, I finely said “good for her”. This is also where the story turns sad. So at some point before 250 pages you want to quit please keep going you may also find the last better then the first.

I really liked Aeron until he gave into the notion to have romantic relations with Legion, I lost it all my like for him after that.

I really enjoyed reading more on Paris, William and Gideon and knowing that Gideon‘s book is next it made this one well worth reading, I cant wait for his book. I would like to add there are lot of excellent passages in this book, so don’t be surprised when you read something and have to read it again and just be in awe at how it was written(

Just what I needed to read on the fourth of July an excellent short story about a sexy alpha werewolf. This short erotic ebook, is hot and spicy with a bit of scary thrown into the mix. I don’t want to give out to much of this short story, but I have to say, Karen learns quick when a werewolf says don’t run you better not unless your prepared for the consequences (it makes for some sizzling hot sex up against a brick wall though;).

little spoilers
At a pre-Halloween party Karen feels like someone is watching her. She has been having dreams of this sexy, dominant and very possessive man with green eyes that insists on her obedience. She wants to leave the party. When she gets up she hears someone say “excuse me” she finds this drop dead gorgeous man wanting to dance. While dancing she notices he doesn’t have on a costume, when she ask where it is. He says “I have my own built-in, I can use whenever I want“.

Anthony knows Karen is his mate. He learns after her ex she swore off men, so he just watched her from afar until the right moment to claim her. On this night he has to step in to save his mate
