Guest Post/Interview requirements

Here at Bitten by Paranormal Romance (BBPR), we accept paranormal romance and erotic paranormal romance authors for Guest Posts and Interviews. The paranormal genre can be historic, suspense or contemporary. Paranormal can be time travel, sci-fi, psychics, etc. Anything that is not "normal" to me is considered paranormal including "enhanced humans".

We will accept authors of other romance sub-genres as long as we are not buried with requests.

This is an 18 and over blog. Therefore, BBPR also accepts erotic romance authors.

BBPR also welcomes both self-published and traditional authors.

However, you must write stories with romance in them, whatever the genre or sub-genre, to have a Guest Post or Interview scheduled with us.

Guest Post Requirements:
Bitten is very busy now days so please try to schedule ahead of time - like 1 to 2 months in advance. The post information needs to be emailed to us at least 7 days before the post date.

Guest Post topics can be just about anything, however we do reserve the right to reject a topic. And any length, within reason, is acceptable. Many authors do interviews with their characters or have other characters interview each other. Some even have other author's characters interview their characters.

Book excerpts are encouraged. This is an 18+ blog so the hotter and steamier, the better. Again any length, within reason, is acceptable.

Giveaways, along with Guest Posts and Interviews, are an essential part of your marketing efforts. Offering a giveaway is also another way to make sure your post is read by more followers. Therefore, we at Bitten feel it is necessary to provide a giveaway with your post. The giveaway doesn't have to be a print or ebook, it can be a gift card, jewelry, bookmarks, trading cards, or even a print copy of another author's book (in this case it must be a print copy) - but then you are advertising another author's work, not your own. The list is endless.

The giveaway period is usually 3 days long. If you would like it to run longer, please tell us how long you'd like it to run.

Please specify if the giveaway is open to only the U.S. followers, U.S. and Canada or open internationally (or if open to only a few other countries, list them please). Since you will be mailing any non electronic version or item, it is your decision. Additionally you'll need to tell us if you are giving away more than one copy/item and if to a single winner or multiple winners.

Giveaways are also an excellent way to increase Facebook, Twitter, blog and web site traffic. Please let us know if you'd like to offer the entrants the ability to earn more entries by tweeting about the book and/or giveaway, "liking" your Facebook page or "friending" you on Facebook or Goodreads, adding your book to their Goodreads "to read" bookshelf, following your blog via email, sign up for your newsletter, adding you to their G+ circle, etc.

Interviews

Bitten doesn't offer interviews unless we have read one of your books first. It's just easier to come up with questions this way. You may also provide some interview questions if you like but we still must have read one of your books first.

Interviews need to be scheduled out at least 1 - 2 months ahead of time. We'll need the interview questions' answers returned at the latest within in 7 days of the posting date but the earlier the better. You will also need to provide any additional contact and/or purchase links as well as pictures you want to run with the interview.
