First book in series : Lucifer's Daughter
Paranormal(MFM)Romance (Demons/Shifters/Angels)

My brother, the antichrist, has it so much easier than me.

Hi, I’m Muriel, misbegotten daughter of Satan, and once again my life is in turmoil. The cowled one who tortured me left a curse on my mind, one that makes me afraid. Completely unacceptable, but in order to remove it, I have to do something even worse—betray my beloved by bringing another man into our bed.

As if having to participate in a threesome isn’t traumatizing enough, Hell has frozen over, and as much as I think Hades looks pretty in a blanket of white, the repercussions are severe. It’s a good thing this princess of Hell has two lovers determined to charge my magic in pleasurable ways.

I'll admit, it's not easy having nympho magic, but I’m prepared to suck it up—and swallow—for the sake of saving the world.

Includes threesome scenes of naughty proportions along with some butt slapping fun.

I loved Snowballs in Hell! This is another wicked adventure from Lucifer’s daughter Muriel. You'll find out what the meaning of Hell’s frozen over. I enjoyed reading this book until I got to the end and then.. NO! She didn't! I was left HANGING!… I started screaming EVE! WHERE IS THE NEXT BOOK!!!! UGH! *Sobbing uncontrollably* I don’t think I can wait to find out what is going to happen to Muriel. Anyhow, if you haven’t read the first book Lucifer’s Daughter, don’t read this one until you do, take my word for it been there and done that.

Now, let’s get to the hot stuff and boy, does this book have some hot wicked stuff *fans self*. Muriel gets an addition to her already hot guy to help her in time of need, so expect some M/F/M (no anal), some spanking or ordering around LOL. Then of course, you get a fun filled adventure with her and her dad the devil, then at the end the huge surprise *still sobbing!*. If you read and liked Lucifer’s daughter please don’t miss this one.

This is a must try series if you’re an erotic paranormal romance reader!!

Tease
“Hell’s frozen over!”
That caught my attention. Sitting up in the bed, I only barely remembered to grab the
sheet and hold it over my naked bosom. “What did you say?” I had to have misheard.
“Hell has frozen over,” said my father slowly through gritted teeth. “As in covered in a blanket of white. No heat. No fire. Frozen solid like a popsicle.”
Now my dad’s outfit made sense. I absorbed this surprising news and then… Ilaughed. I roared. I giggled insanely.
“Muriel!” shouted my father. “I fail to see the humor.”

This book receives both top bit and scorcher award.

Being Lucifer’s daughter can be hell.

Hi, I’m Muriel, the only white sheep in a sea of black ones, and a virgin to boot. I am determined to wait for love, but my dad, more commonly known as Lucifer, just wants me to stop being an embarrassment. I’m hoping the hunk that I met in my bar will turn out to be the one–just looking at him makes my insides melt like marshmallows over the coals of hell, but trusting is hard when it seems everyone I get close to ends up trying to kill me.

Not only am I dealing with an extreme case of lust, there’s a new threat in hell, one my dad says to ignore. Something easier said than done since it seems everywhere I turn demons are trying to kill me. But I’m okay with that, because one thing I’ve learned being a princess of hell is that sometimes I have to grab a demon by the horns and slap it around a bit.

A rebellion in hell, demon assassins and scorching kisses, could my life get any more interesting?

Lucifer’s Daughter is witty sexy and fun to read. Eve created a fun and exciting world and the main star is no less than the Princesses of the devil herself Muriel. I really enjoyed this book, but again I love reading books that make me laugh and enjoy the lighter side of things. Eve hit the nail on the head and made the perfect daughter for Satan. She is rebellious and values her virginity among other things. Until a hunk entered her bar, but wait this is no ordinary hunk he is special, you’ll have to read and find out who Auric really is and way he makes Satan mad for being around his daughter.

I loved the fun characters and the whole over throw Satan storyline. The action and hot wicked sex made the book flow really well. Now, on to the next daughter of Satan’s adventure.

This book is in Muriel’s POV.If you’re an urban fantasy reader that likes some erotic romance please give this a try. Muriel is strong and has plenty of powers.

Silent howl is the second book in Stacey Kennedy’s Blue Bloods series; I simply loved this book from start to finish. I enjoyed the first book to the series, but this book was what I needed to help me over a hump. When things in life are upside down it’s nice to open a book or in this case a PDF copy and be able to read something to pick you up, make you have a brighter day and to know that there is always love to be found. Not all books have to have a big bang or the hottest romance, it’s nice to find a true love romance between a couple, along with the love of others that helps each other in a desperate time of need, against worst of killers.

Briggs and Ryann’s relationship develops even more in this book. It’s amazing to see how a writer can develop the characters each book. Briggs and Ryann have a wonderful romance story and Ryann learns to embrace her wolf and live more by the pack ways.
Briggs is one of my favorite hero’s, he maybe a beta to his alpha leader, but Briggs can be alpha and he shows this to Ryann. OMG! It was one hot scene, so be careful reading this book because you may find yourself saying “I want my own Briggs.” LOL. I simply love Ryann; she is a heroine that I wish I could be anytime.

Special note, I loved how Stacey tied the title of the book with Briggs and Raynn it was very sweet.

The author also brings in characters from her other series; I love how she does this it ties everyone together. This is an awesome series, so kudos to Stacey for dreaming up this great series for all to enjoy.

Please welcome author Ami Blackwelder!

Eloquent Enraptures and author Ami Blackwelder proudly presents the six part science fiction/paranormal romance saga! Like nothing you have ever experienced!

Shifters of 2040:

“I’m pregnant. Her eyes peered over the edge of the cloth and confronted her mirrored reflection with that truth. I’m pregnant…by a SHIFTER. Oh, god!”

In “The Shifters of 2040,” Scientist Melissa Marn finds her world swirling on its axis with that one revelation. Shifters — a sentient alien species of light — look to Earth for refuge. In doing so, both shifters and humans are forced to confront prejudice, betrayal, adversity and oppression.

Methodical scientist, Melissa Marn, and her coworker, Dr. Bruce Wilder, conduct experiments on the shifters. Through her pregnancy, she becomes more compassionate and humane and finds herself defending the very species she’s supposed to eradicate.

One of the hybrids, Diamond, falls in love with Keenan, a soldier trained to kill her. Between the four, the reader is led from conflict to resolution, from despair to hope, from loneliness to love.

Much of the book’s originality lies in the shifters, common characters in science fiction, but whose origins are rarely explained. In this series, their alien DNA allows them to metamorphose into not just wolves, but a variety of animals. As the plot unfolds, the shifters discover they can have children with humans — hybrids.

Strengths of the novel include the complex characters, its writing style of poetic prose and rich description, and the well developed, thought-provoking, yet highly entertaining plot.
This fast paced book will appeal to the young adult and adult market. It fits nicely into the paranormal romance and science fiction romance genres and would make a great movie, a captivating TV series and an intriguing video game.

Readers will enjoy the fresh approach and original concept of the world thirty years from now, and will find the characters come to life in their minds long after they read “The End.”

The Shifters of 2040

Character Interview: This interview will be conducted for the characters of the Shifters of 2040. Scientist Melissa Marn and the hybrid Diamond.

Do you always love what you can’t have?
Melissa Marn: The Smithsonian, Bruce Wilder. I guess I do. But my life is controlled by the SCM now, by my father and General Raul. They decided this fate for me. If I had my way, I’d run off with Bruce somewhere far away...
Diamond: I fell in love with the enemy on accident. I didn’t plan to love Keenan, the military soldier sworn to kill me and my kind. He didn’t plan to love me. We just happened.

If you were a quality?
Melissa Marn: The River. I am methodical like waves. I do the job needed to be done, whatever the cost of erosion, and flow continually. Close to the Earth, but I am cold, because the SCM coaxed me since fifteen, and trained me since twenty-five.
Diamond: The Hawk. This is my other half, the beast inside of me, that the humans fear. I fly above the world and watch. Silent, and steady, but strong.

If you were a flaw?
Melissa Marn: Ice. I am cold, and hard. And too easily I melt and conform to the shape I am enclosed in, that prisoner the SCM has built around my life.
Diamond: The Heart. I feel too much. Emotions explode inside of me, and I sense my heart will be the end of me one day. If I could only feel less...

Do you always walk on the moral slippery slope?
Melissa Marn: It’s my job! It’s all I know. And if I didn’t do it, someone else would. What then? I know the shifters are more than the SCM tells us they are. They must feel something. But what? My curiosity and scientific training drives me. I have to find answers to my questions. I have to perform my duty!
Diamond: But I love him! I know being with him draws danger to my kind, to my family. My sister. But he would never betray me, willingly. I know he loves me too. And though I am sworn to stay away from him, from all SCM, my heart dominates my head.

Favorite food?
Melissa Marn: The Italian restaurant Little Milan. Bruce and I have shared many discussions, heated arguments, and romantic memories there.
Diamond: Mice...I am half hawk.

Guest paranormal romance author Edie Ramer

Please welcome author Edie Ramer!

Laurie, thank you for inviting me here to talk about Dead People, Book One in my Haunted hearts series. One of the best things about writing—besides working at home in my sweatshirt and flannel pants—is that I get to write what’s fun for me. Ghosts are super fun. Though I’ve never had a ghostly encounter, I sometimes feel that people I know who have passed are sending me love. It’s as if I’m lit up within. But even as a child I never had a fear of ghosts. I always figured if they had no bodies, they couldn’t hurt me.

That’s one strand of Dead People. The second is the characters. I like damaged characters who don’t whine. That’s my snarky ghost whisperer heroine, my cynical former rocker hero and his newly found 10-year-old found daughter. Even the ghost is damaged—though she does her share of whining.

I can’t remember which came first anymore, but these different plot strands all tangled together into a story with a haunted house (I love haunted houses!) and characters haunted by their pasts. It has suspense, romance, humor, and a lot of heart.

Here’s the description of DEAD PEOPLE:

Book one of the Haunted Hearts series:

When Cassie Taylor talks, ghosts listen. She wants to heal their souls so they can leave earth. Brooding songwriter Luke Rivers wants to give his recently found daughter a normal home, but he discovers his new house in small town Wisconsin is haunted by a ghost with an attitude. His ghost whisperer has an attitude too—even before someone tries to kill her.
He wants conventional; she wants acceptance. No wonder she thinks men are hard and dead people are easy.
The excerpt below is in a secondary character’s POV, a ghost who died in the 1960s. Joe is Cassie’s best friend. He’ll be the hero in Book Two of my Haunted Hearts series, which will be out sometime this year. Here’s the excerpt:
Joe didn’t care for the way the guitar player eyeballed Cassie, as if she were a chrome-plated hot rod and he couldn’t wait to jump in and burn rubber. Good thing Joe had followed her, even though she’d told him not to. May as well get some use out of being dead. He could’ve used this invisible thing when he was on the force.
More than fifty years now, and he still missed a good beer. Hell, he even missed bad beer, the smooth way a cold one went down his throat on a hot summer night, the smell of hops, the bitter edge. He wanted it all. Hot dogs smothered in ketchup and mustard, a warm steak oozing blood, a Cuban cigar, his mom’s black forest cake.
And women. He missed holding a warm woman in his arms even more than he missed sex. Well, almost more. He hadn’t been a eunuch. Even after polio took Mary away.
Sometimes he wondered why he didn’t go and find Mary. Wasn’t she the love of his life? But he just couldn’t let go of earth
Unlike the poor schlubs he and Cassie found wandering around in a mess of emotional confusion, Joe knew he was dead a minute after the bullet slammed into his heart. He’d understood all he needed to do to leave was to let go of earth and fly. But something held him back, a sense that there was something more for him.
Since he’d met Cassie three years ago, this non-bodily existence had gotten easier with someone to talk to. Someone to laugh with. Someone on the same channel as him. Someone who breathed real air.
Sometimes he lay down beside her at night just to hear her little snores. She told him she felt his breath sometimes, but she must be imagining it. The way he figured it, she wanted him to breathe.
Some day, though, he was going to surprise her. He’d been practicing a few experiments the last couple years, but he wasn’t ready for prime time yet. When the ectoplasm disintegrated, he felt like a used condom. He didn’t want Cassie to see him like that.
If the cat with the guitar tried anything on Cassie, Joe might take that chance. No one ever said Joe was yellow when he was alive, and they weren’t going to say it in death either. Hell, it was easier to be brave now.
He had nothing to lose. Mary was gone, his mom, dad and brother were gone.
He kept track of friends, but only one was left, and he wouldn’t live long. Besides, he couldn’t talk to him. Just see him getting older and sicker every day. Not the same thing.
All he had was Cassie.

Thanks Edie!

I found Scared of Spiders very satisfying and fun to read. This is a cute sexy story about a woman named Josie who is scared to death of spiders. She is so scarred she carries a can of Raid with her. Josie soon learns a can of Raid won’t keep everything away, especially when she has two wolves hot on her heels bidding for her attention.

This is a ménage relationship with a couple of hot scenes, one with double penetration so, yes there is anal. This trio has never met before so; their relationship comes together pretty fast. The only downside I found some may not like the idea of Josie taking the wolf shifter so easily. You won’t find much chase or complain about these men being shape-shifters. I myself didn’t mind it. I recommend this one to erotic paranormal readers that likes a trio of fun.

My Review:
Rating-

Everlastin’ is a spooky twisted tale of a ghost and his love. I enjoyed the first of the book and the last, but the middle was ick. Both the hero and heroine are hardheaded and arrogant, so you get a lot of back in forth. I had two big problems one was most of this book is written in Beth’s POV, so I really never got to read what was going on in Lachlan head. The second is in most of the book Beth is fighting her love and cutting Lachlan down, at times I will say he needed it, but there are times all he shows her love and she throws it back in his face or kicks him in the chin. After Lachlan gets to tell his whole sad story on how everything happened, Beth still denies it for a while and blames him for putting drugs in her drink, but she eventually caves. Most people will like the chase, but sometime it’s just too much for me.

The sex is steamy for an older paranormal romance I was very surprised at the sexual tension between these two. Overall I was very impressed with this unusual ghost story that captured the Scottish language, so well you feel like you could be there. There is a glossy at the front of the book, so you won’t miss what’s being said. You also get to read about the next couple before the end.

There are 5 books in this series I was very lucky go get 4 of them. If you want a different paranormal romance story give this one a try, just don’t pay too much for this book with the whole series out of print it can get costly.

Men of Honor, Book 1

One year ago on a mission gone wrong, Tanner James failed to save the life of Jesse, his Army Ranger teammate. Before dying in that South American jungle, Jesse extracted a promise that won’t let Tanner rest until it’s fulfilled—no matter what it costs him.

Damon Price loved Jesse, but problems in their relationship had come to a head right before Jesse left on his final mission. Now a reluctant Dom and a man still in mourning, he’s not happy when Tanner appears at his BDSM club. And even less happy with Jesse’s last request—that Tanner sub for him for one night.

After a rough start, Damon realizes that the tough soldier, despite his protests, aches for someone to take control. And Tanner senses a hesitance, an insecurity in Damon that makes him wonder if he’s simply a placeholder for Jesse, or if their tentative connection could grow into something more.

For Jesse’s sake, they agree to try one weekend together. Then duty calls, and a series of attacks that have been happening near the club hits too close to home, making both men wonder if giving their hearts is a maneuver fraught with too much risk…

Product Warnings

Sexual

I didn’t want to like these guys, not even a little. They were so tormented. They kept denying themselves love. I just wanted to take Damon and LC by the shoulders, shake them, and yell, “Snap. Out. Of. It.” In the end, I couldn’t help myself, I fell and hard.

When Damon Price was 18, he suffered a terrible tragedy and never fully recovered. Letting someone get close, love him was impossible until Jesse -- almost. Tanner James feels responsible for Jesse’s death and wants to honor his friend’s last request. The initial encounter between Tanner and Damon is volatile and sets the tone for the rest of the book. Unfortunately, after the scene with Damon, Tanner is left shaken; disturbed and confused by the feelings that Damon has awaken within him. Tanner feels he won’t be able to do what Jesse requested of him -- he is set to self-destruct. Damon realizes his mistake and orders Tanner to spend the weekend with him.

He called himself a bastard several times over for the man he’d left behind and the one in front in him who was obviously in trouble. Probably had been for a while and Damon had been too wrapped up in himself to notice.

Tanner and Damon are highly combustible alphas who need each other desperately. Although, they want to remain blind to it, everyone else around them can see it. Including Damon’s BFF, LC. (Who has his own fair share of lovelorn problems.) Even as their relationship grows, Tanner continues to deny his submissiveness while Damon persists to believe he’s fulfilling Jesse’s last wish. Along the way, a series of brutal attacks on a few of the Crave club patrons has occurred outside of the club. Not only are Damon and LC concerned for their clientele and the business, but the attacks have brought back painful memories for both men.

Damon feels he can’t be forgiven or loved because of his past, but Tanner doesn’t give up and gives Damon one last chance. LC on the other hand, has been fooling himself, waiting (for too damn long IMHO) on a hope and a dream.

And, oh yes, you will experience man love, BDSM, the club scene and D/s.

What a breathtaking love story. Two people who are meant for each other but are afraid……

Without a doubt, these are Men of Honor. I am looking forward to reading LC’s story in Bound By Law.

Interview with paranormal romance author Dianne Duvall

Please welcome author Dianne Duvall!

Laurie-Hello Dianne, thanks so much for doing this interview.
Dianne-Thanks for having me. It’s great to be here!

Laurie-Would you please tell us a little about yourself?
Dianne-I am a long-time romance novel enthusiast with a vivid imagination that has driven me to create a new paranormal romance series: Immortal Guardians, which begins with the release of Darkness Dawns today. I love to write and have been doing so since I was around thirteen years old. When I’m not writing Immortal Guardians novels or reading the latest book by one of many favorite romance authors, I work in the independent film community. So, I pretty much enjoy doing anything that allows me to be creative.

Laurie-Do you have any writing quirks you use?
Dianne-Quite a few actually, but the most prominent one is using different media to write my novels. I wrote my first manuscripts (a medieval romance with paranormal elements and a time travel romance, both of which are prequels to Darkness Dawns) on my computer. When writers block started to creep in, I grabbed a spiral notebook and a pen and ended up writing all of Darkness Dawns by hand. Then the second book in the Immortal Guardians series I wrote on the AlphaSmart NEO I won when Darkness Dawns was chosen as Best of the Best in the RWA Indiana Golden Opportunity contest. This has become my favorite medium on which to write now because there is no internet (email, facebook, blogging) to distract me.

Laurie-Who has inspired you to write?
Every author who has ever written a book I enjoyed. Reading fueled my imagination and made creating my own stories easy and enjoyable. My husband provided even greater inspiration. He was the first person to believe I could write a novel and get it published and has supported me every step of the way.

Laurie-What are some of your favorite paranormal romance authors?
Dianne-I have a long list of favorites that includes Alexandra Ivy, Gena Showalter, Kresley Cole, Lara Adrian, Alexis Morgan, Christine Feehan, Sherrilyn Kenyon, J. R. Ward and more.

Laurie-Would you please tell us about your Immortal Guardians series?
Dianne-The Immortal Guardians series takes a fresh approach to the vampire romance genre. Vampires in this series aren’t heroes. They also aren’t undead. Rather they are infected with a rare virus that conquers, then replaces their immune system and lends them incredible strength, speed and healing capabilities, coupled with an unfortunate photosensitivity and a need for frequent infusions of blood. A greater downside to the virus is that, in only a short time, it damages the brains of humans infected with it, causing them to descend into madness. So even good guys who are infected with it will inevitably become villains who prey upon humans.

Immortals are infected with the same virus. But they were something more than human before their transformation. Though they don’t know the source of it, each was born with incredibly advanced DNA that bestows upon them special paranormal abilities and mutates the virus so they aren’t afflicted by the madness it causes in vampires. Exceedingly powerful warriors, the Immortal Guardians keep the vampires in check and will take readers with them on their journey as they endeavor to discover the truth behind their existence, encounter new preternatural beings and face increasingly complex challenges spawned by an escalating number of formidable foes.

Laurie-How many books do you have planned for this series? Can you tell us who is next?
Dianne-There will be at least four books in the Immortal Guardians series. The second book, which is scheduled for release in December 2011, will revolve around Marcus. For those who haven’t read Darkness Dawns: Marcus is the only immortal who braved Roland’s irascible nature to become his friend. He is also mourning the loss of a woman he loved for eight centuries and is now skating the edge.

Laurie-What was the best thing you liked about writing your hero Roland?
Dianne-Watching the reawakening that took place within him. Thrice betrayed and nearly destroyed by those he loved and trusted more than anyone else, he has lived in isolation for centuries, unwilling to trust. Then Sarah charges into his life and to his rescue and suddenly he’s laughing again. Teasing and being teased. Trusting despite the harsh lessons history has taught him. Desiring, loving, and generally embracing life again after a prolonged absence.

Laurie-Can you tell us what inspired you to write your heroine Sarah as an organic health nut?
Dianne-I wanted to do something different that would lend her a unique individuality. Since eating organic is a growing trend, I thought it would go well with her profession as a music theory professor.

Laurie-Can you tell us a little about the leader Seth?
Dianne-Seth is the eldest and most powerful Immortal Guardian, possessing all of the paranormal abilities the others boast combined. As their self-proclaimed leader, he considers it his responsibility to seek out all newly transformed immortals, ease their transition into their new life, train them, guide them, give them a new purpose and, if necessary, punish them should they stray from the boundaries he sets for them. He also considers them and treats them all like family, putting their safety and happiness above his own.

Laurie-Is there anything you’d like to add about your new series?
Dianne-I hope readers will enjoy the approach it takes to the vampire romance genre, be entertained by the wild ride ahead and will love the characters as much as I do.

To celebrate the release of Darkness Dawns, I’m holding a Win a Kindle contest.  Readers can learn more on my website (www.DianneDuvall.com ) and my blog The Immortal Realm ( dianneduvall.blogspot.com ).

Laurie-Can you tell us what you’re working on now?
Dianne-I just turned in the second book in the series and am now beginning the third.  I’ll leave readers guessing whom that one will feature.

Thanks Dianne!!

Guest Author Marting Sharlow

About Martin Sharlow

Martin Sharlow was always a storyteller. In his youth he used to play roleplaying games and usually he was the game master. That allowed him to create and modify stories and then tell them to his captive audience in the form of a game. Because of this and the many fantasy books he read, Martin went the next step and started writing fantasy novels.

Recently, however, Martin changed genres to vampire romance as he got bitten by the vampire bug. This happened after picking up one of the latest novels and finding himself hooked on it. Today Martin has written two vampire romance novels, and is in the process of writing many more.

Martin currently lives in Vancouver, WA with two of his three children, who help to keep him grounded in reality.

You can visit Martin Sharlow at http://www.wix.com/targoun/martin

What led you in the direction of vampires? What other genres would you like to explore?

Most of my adult life all I read was fantasy. A few times I tried science fiction, and usually it didn't keep my attention. In only a few cases did I find much interest. I read a couple of Stephen King books. But overall it was just fantasy. Well, as one could guess that could actually get boring over time. As a writer, I started hearing more and more about Twilight, and other movies and books. Like usual I tried to avoid it. That is, until some authors I met and liked put out a couple of books. People were raving about them, so I figured I'd at the very least check them out and see what all the hoopla was about.

Big mistake. Next thing I knew, I had read all three books the author had put out in the series. Guess what? It wasn't enough. I started watching vampire shows like True Blood, and I started reading other novels as well. Being an author, it didn't take me long to realize that I wanted to write this. I love to create and explore, so I wrote two different series in response. Shades of Twilight being one of them. I actually have a third that is only partially done as well.
Well, like I said, I started out in fantasy, and I want to go back to that and continue exploring there as well. Vampires are currently where I'm at and maybe in time some fantasy again. I'm also looking into vampire erotica, but that seems a bit hard for me at the moment. Maybe in the future. I'd like to think as an author that I'm flexible and can move around to different genres. In the end, I have to take my fans' desires into what I write. At the moment that's vampire so I'm here for the duration, which is good, as I'm enjoying the genre.

Shades of Twilight by Martin Sharlow, Excerpt
The lights came back on in the theater, and still half the people hadn't left yet. The first portion got up and left the moment the credits came up, but the rest sat in their seats and talked about everything they'd just watched. A few of the last people leaving let their eyes linger on Michael as they walked out, but most didn't even seem to notice him any longer. I guess they were more wrapped up in their new world of vampires and werewolves. I couldn't blame them, really. Bella's world looked all romantic and fun. Somehow even with a horde of vampires trying to kill her, the movie seemed to make it a cool thing. I realized that, had I been Bella and that was my life, it wouldn't seem so cool anymore. At the moment, though, it did. Her romanticized life seemed preferable to mine, and yet a part of me knew I wouldn't leave mine right now even if it were possible.

I looked over at Michael to see him sitting there staring at me. I wondered what he was thinking, if he thought I was his Bella, or was he just amused that I had the need to escape into fantasy. I noticed a kernel of popcorn stuck on his shoulder, then one in his hair, and couldn't help wonder how they got there.

"Are we done yet?" He asked with a bit of hope in his eyes. "Or are we going to go get another ticket and watch it again?
He looked so adorable right now, just sitting there with popcorn in his hair. I wasn't sure what it was or why he so appealed to me right then, but without thinking I found myself pressing my lips against his silky soft ones. His lips warmed to the touch of mine, as we kissed.

Cover- Love it!

Very emotional and intriguing story, that was very hard for me to put down. The hero and heroine in this book are what you call tortured, so this book will be hard to read for some while others will relish in its emotional rollercoaster. I’m not usually one for this kind of read because it really pains me to read all the heartache, but I loved how it flowed and how the author keeps them both working on their problems.

Few spoilers sorry, it’s the only way I can write this.
Malachi is a vampire that has lived thousands of years, but he had never felt a woman’s touch. When he was a teen he found himself in the hands of male sadists. So there is mention of m/m rape. I am one that has a hard time about m/m rape, but the author does a good job without going over board to make anyone uncomfortable. With this problem Malachi doesn’t think he can needs a woman until one night he here’s a cry in the park..

Geri is not in much better shape, she two is a victim of a man and now she is homeless. She is saved in a park one night by a huge and handsome man. As they embark on an adventure she finds herself falling for him, but can she change him and earn his trust to get him pour out his soul.

If you like tortured heroes and emotional rollercoaster then give this one a try. This is book 3 in a series, but this can read be as standalone.
