Great debut novel by author Cynthia D'Alba being released today, Feb 28, 2012, by Samhain Publishing.

Sexy cowboy, a reunion at a wedding, a big secret, a rekindled romance, humor - what more do you need to get your read on? A very sexy bit of eye candy on the cover, wouldn't you say?

Mitch is a 6'4" cowboy with a chiseled body, long dark hair, blue eyes, sexy stubble, a "toe curling" grin, a kiss that "could make a nun question her vows" and a Stetson. It has been six years since Mitch has seen his former flame, Olivia. But he thinks she looks awesome today. However her face shows "resignation and a frown" when she see him; not exactly the reaction he was looking for.

Olivia is really not thrilled about seeing Mitch again and of course when he finds her in the airport she's upset she didn't have time to get all dolled up to see him. She's come straight from work at the gym against her wishes. She thinks she looks like "someone who'd been yanked from a Sweating With the Oldies video." She really had hoped to avoid him as much as possible at the wedding this weekend because she's hiding a big secret.

Has a really funny simile: "...her resolve collapsed like a cheap lawn chair." Another thing I like about this story is both the lead characters are divorced. And there is just the right amount of conflict even if you know what Olivia's secret is from early on. Mitch's solution to their problem is an interesting one as is the ending of the book.

I read this in one sitting; started it at 9 pm and the next thing I know I've reached the end and it is 1:45 am.

Cynthia is responsible for this paranormal romance and urban fantasy fanatic falling hard for cowboys. I won a contest and she sent me a book with two of Vicki Lewis Thompson's stories in it.
