4.5 Stars!! Funny, sexy, romantic, a quick read. Features an immortal who says, "I don't sprout fangs. I don't get all furry during the full moon. And I don't have lucky charms that are magically delicious."

Chase's characters are believable as is the story line. It grabs your interest from the very start with an unusual beginning. Who'd have thought "listening in" on a therapy session could be interesting and funny?

Unbeknown to Lisette, she is lucky to have found one of a very few, if not the only, psychiatrist who believes in the paranormal. Lisette is an immortal who is not adjusting well to living in the twenty-first century. She thinks it's just her luck to have a gorgeous and sexy therapist when she wants to end it all.

Colin is somewhat dismayed to find he desires Lisette inappropriately -- she's his client. But he is drawn to her emotionally and physically. When he tries to get her interested in a hobby to try to get her zest for life back, will it be her saving grace or ruin a budding romance?

I love the humor in this. There is also a fun reference to the 1987 movie Fatal Attraction starring Glenn Close -- ya know, the one with the rabbit.

I'd love to see this turned into a series and read about what kind of trouble Lizette gets into on her journey to getting more acclimated with this century and beyond.
