Review Platinum Passion by Jennifer Lynne
Title: Platinum Passion (Gods of Love #1)
Author: Jennifer Lynne
Source: Gift
Genre: Erotic Paranormal Romance
Format: eNovella
Release Date: December 14, 2011

Three people. One erotic fantasy. And a twentieth wedding anniversary like no other.
Jeannie longs for the return of passion in her marriage. Jake craves new excitement in the form of another man. Pothos is one of the erotes and an aspect of Eros, the ancient Greek god of love, and this couple's distinctive yearning has called to him. By the power of the erotes he intends to rekindle the flame of Jake and Jeannie's passion in a night of desire that will be the ultimate platinum anniversary gift.
And when the gods of love decide your marriage needs a boost, they never do it by halves.
Platinum Passion is the first in this series of novella-length stories about the erotes: Pothos - god of sexual yearning, Himeros - god of sexual desire, and Anteros - god of unrequited/requited love.
The erotes are aspects of the primal god, Eros, and the children of Aphrodite.
Her influence will be evident throughout the Gods of Love series. But the celebration of the ancient Greek gods of love begins in Platinum Passion with the gorgeous Pothos, god of sexual yearning.

My Review:
4.5 Stars!! Just one night can change everything for the god of erotic love. The last night of the season is full of possibilities. A story of a rekindled romance, ignited passion for all involved and an unexpected outcome for one.
Jeannie, sitting in bed one night beside her sleeping husband of 20 years, has just finished reading a book when a man, the spitting image of the hot cover model, appears in the doorway of her bedroom.
The stranger says he's been sent from Eros to ignite the passion of their marriage again. It is "in [his] nature to inspire many aspects of yearning. And to sate them." He is Pothos "who represents the aspect of sexual yearning." One of the Erotes.
Jake is a little surprised to find himself attracted to a man -- curious. He loves Jeannie. He's been so tired lately he can't remember the last time they'd made love.
The author does a really good job of handling the introduction of a lover into the lives of a happily married couple. They way she does it, it isn't infidelity at all.
This story is hot. There is wonderful sex scene on the beach and in the ocean. M/F, M/M/F and M/F/M with some anal penetration. Nice hot cover too!
A very quick read. I would recommend it for a lunch time read but then you'll probably spend the rest of the day all hot and bothered. Best save it for after work. {saucy grin}
The only thing I didn't like about this story was the length - it was way too short. I want to read more about this encounter. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice, well rounded story -- I just want more. But I'm getting greedy.
Looking forward to reading others in this new series as they become available.

Is it wrong to like threesomes in books? I don't know it brings a new layer to reading. I found that out when I read Delicate Freakn' Flower and LOVED the crap out of it.
Great Review!
Mary
I certainly don't think threesomes and foursomes are wrong. I love reading about them as well.
Speaking for myself I am addicted to them have been since I read my fist threesome, so if its wrong I can careless. I'm going to read them regardless LOL.
