Blog tour with romance author Claire Ashgrove

Please welcome romance author Claire Ashgrove!

Good morning!  It’s so good to be back here today.  Since we’re five days into the release of Immortal Surrender, I thought it might be nice to check in with our fearless Templar commander, Merrick du Loire, and see what he thinks of the new turn of events.

ClaireMerrick, it shows through Immortal Surrender that you still don’t trust or care for Tane, but Anne has forgiven him. Why do you think she can but you can’t?

Merrick:  ‘Tis a most unpleasant subject, Lady Ashgrove.  Must we continue this course?  I do not make it habit to speak of the traitor.

Claire:  I know you don’t.  Humor me for a moment or three, please?

(Merrick grumbles, but gives a short nod.)  If ‘tis necessary for the comprehension of our plight, I shall suffer the inquisition.  Quite simply, Lady Anne possesses a gentleness of heart that I do not.  Nor do I possess the desire to cultivate such outside of my relationship with her.  My duties are such that softness and tender-heartedness could be deadly upon a battlefield.

Claire:  But this isn’t a battlefield – not in the temple at least.  This was once your brother.

Merrick:  Indeed.  The very same reason why his betrayal runs much deeper.  Were he another knight, his actions would not be so grievous, though indeed they would warrant punishment.

Claire: Do you think you will eventually forgive him?

Farran de Clare, loyal member of the cursed Knights Templar, wants nothing to do with predestined mates. Even the Almighty won’t turn him into a fool again—he’d rather sacrifice his soul. Yet in the scientist Noelle Keane, a devout atheist, Farran meets the seraph designed for him.

Ordered by the archangel Gabriel to protect Noelle, the possessor of a sacred relic that could give Azazel incredible power, Farran swears to do his duty—but in name only. Fighting an attraction that grows with each day, he’s determined that he’ll never pledge himself to her.

Review Beyond Shame by Kit Rocha

Title: Beyond Shame (Beyond, #1)
Author: Kit Rocha
Source: Netgalley
Genre: Dystopia Erotic Romance (BDSM elements)
Length: Novel

All Noelle Cunningham has ever wanted is a life beyond–beyond the walls of Eden, where only the righteous are allowed to remain, and beyond her stiflingly restrictive existence as a councilman’s daughter. But only ruins lie outside the City, remnants of a society destroyed by solar storms decades earlier.

The sectors surrounding Eden house the corrupt, the criminal–men like Jasper McCray, bootlegger and cage fighter. Jas clawed his way up from nothing to stand at the right hand of Sector Four’s ruthless leader, and he’ll defend the O’Kane gang with his life. But no fight ever prepared him for the exiled City girl who falls at his feet.

Her innocence is undeniable, but so is their intense sexual attraction, and soon they’re crossing every boundary Noelle barely knew she had. But if she wants to belong to Jas, first she’ll have to open herself to the gang, to a dangerous world of sex, lust and violence. A world where passion is power, and freedom is found in submission.

In the steampunk world of Victorian London, a beautiful vampire seeks out the author of Dracula–to set the record straight . . . If one is to believe Bram Stoker’s legendary vampire tale, Lucy Weston is Dracula’s most wanton creation, a sexual creature of the night who preys on innocent boys. But the real-life Lucy is nothing like her fictional counterpart—and she demands to know why the Victorian author deliberately lied. With Stoker’s reluctant help, she’s determined to track down the very fiend who transformed her—from the sensual underworld where humans vie to become vampires, to a hidden cell beneath a temple to madness, and finally into the glittering Crystal Palace where death reigns supreme.

Haunted by fragmentary memories of her lost life and love, Lucy must battle her thirst for blood as she struggles to stop a catastrophic war that will doom vampires and humans alike. Ultimately, she must make a choice that illuminates for her—and for us—what it means to be human.

Guest post from the CEO of BTS magazine Myra Nour

Please welcome Myra Nour CEO of BTS magazine. Myra is also an author so please check out her website below.

Why did you start publishing BTSeMag?

My daughter, Christy, said to me one day, “we should publish an eMagazine.” Simon and I both were against it because Chris was attending college. When would she have time for this? But she really wanted to do it, so we started helping her look for authors to include in the eMag

Feedburner update

UPDATE. Thanks to Miki Suggestion for http://blogtrottr.com. I signed up and I think I have it up and running. This is for you to get post by email.  If you look at the top left sidebar, you'll see a place to add an email. Just add your email and you will get the post, it worked for me today and others. So, this one seems to work better.

Thanks

Since my attempted of using the free Feedcat failed, I have looked into some more Feedburners. The sad fact is there isn't much for free so with only 60 Freedburners users I can't see myself paying 5.00 to 10.00 a month, plus with most of these feedburner host, if I gain subscribers then it could run into 30.00 or more a month.Until I can find something similar to Google Feedbruner than I will not be having one. I'm sorry but all of this monthly pay here and there is getting too much for this blogger.

To those of you 60 people who uses Google Feedburner you will have it for a few more weeks before they shut it down.

I am considering using mailchimp for my events next year, that way it will be easier for you to keep up with them, but again I have to be careful because if I go over the limit it too will cost around 5.00 a month, if not more it just depends on how many signs up.

The free blogging world is changing fast, it's becoming a dollar digger by the month. This is the biggest reason you see a lot of blogger closing up because they didn't see this coming before they open a blog.

What are you reading this Autumn?

I was looking at my TBR list (not reading any of them, just looking, because I'm really good at managing my time wisely. HA!)
I quickly realized how far behind I was, BUT my mind started to wander again and I ended up making this list of Fall releases that I'm excited for.

I'm sure that there are tons missing from the list, so feel free to comment and tell me what I've overlooked or what books you are looking forward to!
*Fall runs from Sept 22- Dec 20 this year*

Gabrielle Bisset Sons of Navarus Paranormal Fall Fling blog tour kick off!

Thanks so much to Laurie and all the bloggers here at Bitten By Paranormal Romance for having me here to celebrate the release of the third book in the Sons of Navarus series, Blood Spirit! And the celebration doesn't stop until the last day of October. Until October 31, the Blood Spirit/Sons of Navarus Paranormal Fall Fling giveaway has weekly prizes along with grand prizes of gift cards, ebooks, and cool Sons of Navarus swag at the end of the fling. Be sure to keep reading after the post for details on how to enter!

Blood Spirit is the third book in the Sons of Navarus series and continues the story from the first two, Blood Avenged and Blood Betrayed. When I began brainstorming for this series, I decided that this wouldn't be one of those series where each book is a stand alone. I have a series of novellas like that, but I wanted this series' story to be bigger. So readers are introduced to the first Son, Vasilije, in Blood Avenged and very gently eased into the non-romantic plotline of a vampire civil war between the Sons of Navarus and the Archons. At the end of Blood Avenged, readers meet the rest of the Sons and it all begins.

In the second book, Blood Betrayed, readers meet Saint, another Son, and learn more about the Archons, the law and order vampires who want to take over the vampire world and mold it into their very sterile and cruel likeness. Each book in the series features the love story of one of the Sons but continues the series' plot.

Feed burner news

So, I hear though the grapevine Feedburner is closing next month. I really don't have many of you that scribe to feedburner, so I figured I ask everyone before I go pay for something else or try to dig up something for free that probably wont work half way right. If there is a lot of you what wants Feedburber then I will go find one, if not I'm not going to even bother.

Just leave me a comment and let me know you'd like to have a feedburner.

Thanks
Laurie

Genre: Paranormal Romance
Length: novella, 33 pages

Highlander Reborn begins in Scotland, many centuries ago, where a blacksmith fights for his life and his people. His life is forever changed when Amalia, one of the Nightkind, makes the choice to save his life. But first, he has to die...

1304…

After Nevin MacLachlan’s wife was killed by a vampire, he made it his mission to hunt them all down. But one late Highland night, in a battle he couldn’t win, one of the Nightkind ripped open his throat. With his blood draining onto the grass, the last thing Nevin sees isn’t a white light; it’s the dark of night closing in on him.

Amalia has been enamored with the blacksmith ever since he first held a stake to her heart. Watching him die was unacceptable. Will he ever forgive her for turning him into what he hates most?

Nevin has lived his life alone for a reason. When Amalia walks back into his life seven centuries later asking for help, he wants nothing more but to turn his back to her. But something about her still calls to him.

Some of the Nightkind in Amalia’s seethe have been killed. It’s up to her to find Nevin and ask for his help. But how can she show Nevin that she isn’t the monster he thinks she is?
