This is a new author and series for me. I just finished The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. I agree with you on Supernatural TV show. This is one of my favorite series, it totally blows away the competition. Demon Slave can be stand alone but in order to get the utter hugeness of this book, a background on the dynamics between Skriker and Rose is helpful. I can't wait until the next book!
